Decent Latin America Tour

Took a Latin America Adventure Tour. Booking was simple. Tour guide was good. Everything was as expected. Would consider them again.

Great Hiking Tour!

Just got back from a Hiking Tour in the Alps and it was fantastic. The guide was super knowledgeable and the trails were amazing. Met some cool people too. Booking online was easy enough, no real issues there. Overall, a really good trip.

Good experience, smooth booking

I booked a European Adventure Tour through EF Adventures, specifically a Coastal Hiking Tour. The website was clear and easy to navigate when I was looking at options and booking. I had a few questions about the physical activity level, so I used their online chat support, and they responded quickly with helpful answers. The tour itself was well-organized, and the small group size made it feel more personal. The accommodations were comfortable, and the expert-led aspect was definitely a plus. My only minor feedback would be that the pre-departure information could have been a bit more detailed about packing for specific weather, but that's a small thing. Everything else went smoothly.

Thinking of booking an early bird special for a trip next year. Can I stack that with a referral discount from a friend?

O Olivia Harris 2 days ago
Nah, usually you can only use one discount at a time. I tried to combine my repeat traveler discount with an early booking deal and it didn't work. It's one or the other.

Pretty sure they don't let you stack coupons or discounts. It's usually either the early booking or a referral credit, whatever saves you more.

Anyone know if EF Adventures is legit? I've seen some mixed reviews for other travel companies under the EF umbrella and wanna make sure before I drop a bunch of cash.

K Kevin Garcia 1 month ago
Totally legit. They're part of a huge company, EF Education First. Been around forever. I've been on two trips with them and both were great.

Yeah, they're the real deal. Had a friend who went on a hiking trip with them in Peru and raved about it. Definitely not a scam.

Is there a student discount for EF Adventures? Or any first-time buyer discount codes floating around?

P Paul Brown 3 weeks ago
I don't think they do student discounts directly for Adventures, that's more for their language programs. Best bet for a first-timer is often an early booking discount or a referral code from someone who's traveled with them before.

No student discount that I know of. Your best bet for a discount is catching an early booking special, or if a friend has a referral link, that can save you some money.

Do these EF Adventures tours include flights, or is that something I have to book separately? Just trying to figure out the total cost.

D Danielle Martin 2 weeks ago
Flights are almost always extra. The price you see is for the land package, so you'll need to sort your own airfare.

M Matt B. 1 week ago
Nope, flights aren't included in the base price. You can sometimes add them on through their partner, but it's usually cheaper to find your own deals.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how big the groups usually are on these EF Adventure trips? I'm not really into huge crowds when I'm trying to hike.

D Daniel Taylor 1 month ago
From my experience on their Patagonia trip, it was pretty small, like 12 people. Definitely not a bus full of tourists.

S Stephanie Walker 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually cap them around 10-18 people. It's one of their main selling points, the 'small group' thing.
